TPMS Readings
My TPMS is showing tire pressures that are out of sync and not uniform with actual measured pressures (with quality gauge). I am not sure if the system was not calibrated before I took delivery, but it appears you cannot go through a reset and relearning without a special tool. Its not that big a deal, but it would be nice if it reflected true pressure uniformly on all 4 tires. Has anyone else encountered this?

Subscribed. I notice the same with my TPMS and pressures since day 1.

How many psi is it off by? Every measurements has error. If your quality gauge is class B
ANSI Grade B40.1, the first third of the scale will measure 3% of true pressure, while the second third of the scale will register 2% of true pressure, and the final third will read 3% of true pressure. Thats +/- 2% so max error of 4% Last edited by thescreensavers; 03-06-2017 at 09:52 PM. |

FWIW my readings are usually a few PSI off (compared to an air pressure gauge) most of the time. I try not to worry about it.

Someone in the tire and wheel section (I think) posted about a relearn tool on Amazon. Might want to do a search. I think it was only like $40-$50 and you can reset them yourself.

Thanks, I'll try the dealer first. Don't want to spend the money and then be right back where I am now. Perhaps this is just how it is and nothing can be done about it.
