Apologies for the mistakes on our end. We are doing our best to keep everyone happy, especially considering the issues some of you were having. We have pulled all of our old MAF housings from our warehouse shelves, so this should not have happened. @oldman, let know if there is anything I can help with. Thanks for your support!

@SprSprt, I'll send you a PM to get some more information.

Thanks again,
Gary
Gary,

Great to see you're happy with the fix! If anything strange pops up, please let us know.

They won't even send me one because I don't have a receipt... I'm throwing it in the garbage and going elsewhere, I won't even sell it and let someone else have to deal with it

Sorry to hear you had trouble getting one sent out to you. If you still have our intake, I'll try and work with our Customer Service department to see if we can work something out. Check your PM inbox when you get a chance!

Mishimoto has sent me...not 1...not 2... But 3 replacement mafs and everyone of them are the old one. I've pretty much given up all hope.

I got the correct one, installed it, it runs slightly rich about .02 points stoi so instead of .822 at WOT I get as rich as .800 WOT on E85. I can't say I note a huge improvement over my cut box and green filter. But at last it is working. Shame on Mishimoto for not just going back there and throwing all old MAF housings away.

Sorry about that! I'm working with our warehouse to figure out why that happened. In the meantime, I've submitted the previous information you gave me back to our CS team so they can send you out the correct housing.

@Jessyb13, let us know how your new housing is working out!

Been about a month since installing the revised MAF tube. The CEL issue stopped after first 3 days. No lights since. Filter hasn't fallen off. No complaints.

Sorry to tell you Mishimoto but the damage has been done. This is exactly why you do extensive product testing before releasing a product instead of trying to be first to market. I mean extensive testing, multiple cars and months of testing to iron out ALL the bugs. Clearly you did not do that. The damage done to your image and trustworthiness is far more valuable in the long run than getting that initial sales figure. A lesson you are learning the hard way. Some businesses never recover regardless of damage control efforts. Sucks to see but business is business. Also messing up recovery efforts is serious insult to injury.
