New cycle begins on Thursday....
These guys will have new status and TPW next week... So they must assign us new TPW before that! I agree: It's a painfull wait!!!!!!!!! |

My concern is some of us getting bumped to 2018 my. I for one want a fifty because I'll be 50 this year, so it's kind of special to me. As for me getting bumped 3 times by GM and getting pulled once by my dealer is rediculous. I think if my dealer wouldn't have screwed up originally I would have fine. It almost makes me want to place an order with another dealer, but I don't want to take away from someone else. My dealer had screwed another member here and he put another order in with another dealer and is already built. He was smart and I should have done the same.

+1My deposit accompanied order has been in since 12/01/16. It seems as though Chevrolet / GM don't have much empathy for those of us in the wait queue. We are over a barrel to take it as it is or leave it. I don't understand the lack of emphasis on building "sold" vehicles. Last edited by Dan M.; 03-07-2017 at 01:19 PM. I wouldn't think with us being up to 3100 already that we would be pushed back into the 18's. It is frustrating though not knowing what the issue is. They are obviously still scheduling and building other models so what is the deal?

What is the likely problem? Parts particular to the specific model, but it is equally unlikely Chevrolet will admit ever this. I have gone through this before, which is why I have several times vowed to never do a retail sold order again - a vow obviously broken multiple times.
Retail sold orders not assembled and at 3000 (some say 2000) rollover and the customer is given the choice to take it or not, and the order is price protected. Note, GM does not take orders unless fairly certain it will be built in a timely manner. 1100 is an entered order not a taken or placed order. Laborsmith |

They are doing so throughout this week and next (TPW 03/13). It is only the TPWs after 03/13 that were retracted. |

The only real options on the ZL1 are coupe vs convertible, A10 vs M6, exposed CF or not and color. Not withstanding PDR, sunroofs and stripes I'm struggling to understand why a TPW would be moved around so much. What do all these orders have in common that caused them to move.

What part(s) indeed. In between my 2010 Camaro and current 2016 Camao I had two Sonics, a 2012 LT and a 2013 RS. The 2012 Sonic LTZ with manual transmission went through similar pull backs and delays. I concluded the part causing this was the leathered covered double H patterned shift knob. Was my conclusion correct? Those who knew never said. A shifter knob, who would have thought?
The RS with manual transmission took an extra few weeks to go into production than the RS with the automatic transmission. There again Chevy never said what caused the delay, and though I suspect it was the RS specific MT gearing, I am not as certain that was the hold up. Laborsmith |

I guess we will know soon if the rest of the pending orders for next cycle will also get pushed back. Those that are actually picked up of course. If they assign them a TPW, then I see no reason why we would not get one as well since we have been waiting at 3000 longer.

I'm not sure about that since after my dealer pulled my order and resubmitted it showed at 3/16TPW, then 3 days later it showed 2/27 TPW, then by the next week it went to 3/27 and had no TPW a few days latter and stayed at status 3000. So we will probably never know. I'm currently in discussions with another dealer that has one in production 3/13. My dealer now is our club sponsor so I feel obligated to order from them. Also not sure what this other dealer has on order either. Should know more latter today.

17 ZL1 what a car....

Just wondering are there any ZL1's with A10's with a TPW after 3/27?
