Is anyone's MyLink glitching? - Page 3

Just like 16CamaroSS, my touchscreen display has been self navigating and acting on its own. It changes the language, the radio, and it is making me want to trade my car in as has been taken to the dealership twice for this issue. I have checked my fuses and they are all in fine.

Add me to the list. The Mylink screen on my 2017 SS with 2000 miles just went dark. Nothing works, not even the radio. Tried to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes but that did not help. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow morning.

I had an odd one a couple weeks ago. Twice the MyLink froze, then suddenly my dash went dark. No gauges. Like the car was off. Then everything reset like I had just started the car and went back to normal. Car drove fine while it was happening though. Really strange.

I only have 5,000 miles and my stereo will make a loud squeeling noise then all audio noise to include turn signal sound is muted. Usually happens after 10-15 minutes of driving. I took to dealer and they said they fixed it by running software. I drove away and 10 minutes later it did all of the above.

If you've had a software update at the dealer and are experiencing glitches, then it's likely they did not disconnect the negative battery cable after the update. Try disconnecting the negative cable for a few seconds and reconnecting. Glitch should go away. The same thing happened to me. However, I just got the glitches again 4 months after I disconnected and reconnected the negative cable. I may try it again or take it to the dealer.

Same here, once the screen just stayed black then powered on 20 mins later while driving. Second time was using remote start the radio played by itself, then keep clicking on the area of the screen. Couldn't use any functions due to the click will turn it back to a certain radio preset. Had to disconnect the battery.

Unplugging the battery works but now android auto won't work with my phone. Solve one problem and get another. Wish there was a way to do a software update without the dealer.

I had this problem. I took it to the dealer 3 times. The 1st time in, they told me that the tech couldn't replicate the problem. The 2nd time in, I brought with me videos of the radio changing stations on it's own. GM told the dealership I just needed a software update. The 3rd time in, GM finally agreed to replace the Infotainment system. So far so good with the new Infotainment system installed.

Mine has done it twice. At first it will not respond to touch. Then after about 20 mins I start hearing "The button pushing" sound. Almost like it catching up on all the buttons I pushed trying to get it to work. After 10 mins of this, it settles down and all is perfectly normal. So weird.

Didn't want to make a new thread after finding this but today i had some weird stuff go on with the 8" screen, I left from a location with navigation off with just maps on and the screen froze up and all the center controls were not working on the screen. I was in traffic on a highway after a few i got off a exit and got out turned the car off and waited just a minute or so and restarted the car got in the screen was totally black. The whole way home nothing on the screen was working, radio, nav, phone ect. Got home and left it outside for about 3 minutes as i had to run a errand and when i restarted the screen and all functions went back to normal. Not sure what that was all about but happy its ok again. Anyone else seen this happen?

Update: My screen was freaking out about twice a week. No response when touching screen. Then it would start switching screens on its own. changing language, radio stations, going back and forth between screen 1/2 & 2/2. After about 45 minutes it would start responding to touch....basically it just seemed to calm down and started functioning properly.

Anyways, instead of going to the dealer I did the "disconnect negative battery cable for 20 minutes". It's been about 6 weeks and not one glitch.
