Would you ever consider a $45,000 MSRP 4 cylinder Camaro?
If you were in the market for a Camaro, would you ever consider a $45,000 4-cylinder droptop? Sure, the conquest and down payment assist cash help bring this particular one down to just under $42,000. I'm just curious if there is any interest on these lower trim, largely optioned vehicles. If yes, what would the selling point for you be? Thanks.

In the example above the selling price is nearly $2,000 more than MSRP. They probably added dealer installed options but I would never buy a car from a dealer that marked up the price like that. That car from a better dealer is easily under $40K.

V8 and manual transmission or it wouldn't be an option for me. Ever.

I've seen a 50k+ sticker on a 4cyl when the gen6s first started arriving, I think it's still on the lot which is getting close to a year. If it's the same one than the dealer website has it at 41k after cash offers right now.

This is the setup I would buy my daughter. It has the style, bells, and whistles with a peppy, but not over the top, engine. The insurance is cheaper for the four cylinder engine too.

Looks like the half dozen 2016 2SS's the Dealer has in Great Falls. EVERY possible option available and they SIT on the lot with $56K stickers. There are a lot of potential buyers who don't want a heavily optioned car...many Dealers don't seem to GET that.

I know, it's why I ordered mine no options 1SS to keep $ down. Most dealers order theirs loaded. Sometimes it's hard to find a manual, they order all autos. I think most dealers that place orders are just guessing and are not car enthusiasts. I am curious how cheap a no options T4 could go for?

At least is a car that would make sure she doesn't fool around in the back seat. 😬

That is actually crazy. For $18K I could probably deal with the 4 cylinder. Of course, I'm sure that price has an unobtainable combination of incentives, but still... |

Not when a loaded 2SS coupe comes at the same price. It makes no sense.

I kind of searched around for various Camaros in cars.com and I found:
1LE V6 with Recaros for under $30K 1LE 1SS for under $40K ZL1 for $62K The real shocker? cars.com shows over 30,000 new Camaros for sale. Obviously there is some double counting going on, but even if there are 20,000, that is a lot of unsold Camaros. But the best deals IMHO were several Corvette Grand Sports for around $58K. That is a seriously cool track car. A ZL1 at $62K vs. a Grand Sport at $58K would be a tough decision. If someone wants to spot me $40K or so, I'll let you know just how tough.
