WEAPON-X LT4 Intake makes 28whp - no tune!

The WEAPON-X carbon fiber intake has been a monster out in the real world already having powered LT4 equipped cars as fast as 10.1 @ 138MPH with some other mods. We have two versions and our stage 1 is no tune required which allows the supercharger whine to be much more prominent! Our stage 2 requires a tune and our recent Whipple install resulted in nearly 700whp with just our stage 2 intake and a cat delete.

Our average gains have been 28whp!

Looks like a well constructed piece. Your friends at ROTO-FAB ZL1 CAI claim gains of gains 26HP on the DYNO so you have them by 2 HP. My biggest challenge is getting GM/my dealer to allow for this modification without voiding my warranty.

Look forward to seeing more stats on this with a real live dyno pull.

What he said.

Your website only lists the 2012-2015 Camaro.

I'll need to get the video file up

Yes we have dozens of these out on the LT4 CTS V platform already and they work phenomenally.

Worst case, an intake swap before going to the dealer for any service doesn't take long.

These are a true carbon fiber air bridge, custom CNC MAF flange, MAF airflow straightener, ceramic coated heat shield, and custom dual cone dry Green filter, made in good ol' Cincinnati, OH!

MSRP is $649 for the stage 1, $699 for the stage 2

I'd entertain a 20% off group buy if you guys wanted 10 of them

First off - Nice numbers! Great looking piece too!

Can anything be done to that bend to spruce up the look a little? After purchase I mean.

Is it just me or is that a little hefty for an intake? I just came from an SS, so maybe that has a ZL1 tax included?

Don't really need the added expense of carbon for an intake. Looks nice and all but a possibility of a non carbon version to compete with rotofab price would be a good competition.

That's definitely not an LT4 dyno graph. You can tell by the torque curve

That is absolutely an LT4 dyno graph, that was an LT4 V3, that's all I had on my phone over the weekend. I need to get the ZL1 graph.

I've purchased many parts from Ben @WeaponX for both my CTS-V and C7 Vette.
Always top notch products and great service!

So have you installed this and tested and dynoed on a 2017 Camaro ZL1 yet?

I'd love to see the pics and graphs for a 2017 ZL1

Obviously it all depends on your dealer but I spoke to mine about it had he said a CAI was fine as long as I didn't have it tuned or have the computer changed.
