Pandora Music

Anybody having an issue with the sound using Pandora. I have to turn the volume up almost to maximum to hear the music. Then I have to turn it way back down before going back to Sirius Radio. Otherwise the sound is so loud it almost breaks your eardrums. I love Pandora but this issue of turning the sound up and down every time you want to switch music venues is a hassle.

I have the s6 edge, when ever I connect my headphones or play pandora in the car the volume on the phone only goes up 3/4 of the way. The phone gives me a warning where I have to press okay in order for the volume on the phone to go to 100% loudness. From there I use the cars volume to control where I want it and I have no hearing the music. When I leave phone volume at 3/4, I have to turn the car volume to 100% to be able to hear the music

max the volume on your phone.

I use Android Auto and Pandora definitely sounds better than Pandora via Bluetooth.

I have the volume on my phone set to maximum. My brother has a Lexus and has the same problem. He has to increase the car sound system to almost maximum to hear Pandora. Evidently this is a limitation of blue tooth technology.

Try using a cable and running Android auto or apple play..whichever and see if it works better

I use Spotify over Bluetooth all the time and don't have volume issues. It's definitely not a Bluetooth limitation

I trust you've done it, but just in case, phone volume, sound volume, and media volume are all different settings. The easiest way to ensure you're working with the media/bluetooth volume is to do it when it's playing. Hope it works.

Does anyone know if we can load our own versions of Android apps on the internal Nav unit? I surely like my custom apk of no ads Pandora.

Here's the thing, android is a pain in the ass in this regard.

Try this just to confirm:

Turn on car, turn on pandora on your car/phone
Open the app on your phone, you should see the song playing.
Click play/pause to make sure that your phone realizes you are interacting with pandora app
Then click volume up. What should pop up is a warning about listening to music too loud, click ok
Then crank volume up all the way

You'll have to do this almost every time. It is obnoxious. You cannot get full bluetooth volume on a samsung device unless you click "ok" to the volume warning.

A lot of times if the phone doesn't realize you want to interact with pandora app, you'll just adjust the ringer volume, not the bluetooth volume.

There are no limitations on Bluetooth as they relate to volume other than maximum levels within your device. Check with the owners manual on how to adjust the media volume, and adjust it while Pandora is playing.
