Looks like a DynoJet printout to me. I guess I can look up the shop to confirm.

Based on the torque numbers I would take the A8/SS car for the win in a quarter mile race.

I'm not an expert, but I have heard the difference lies in the gearing differences between the auto and manual. They had this same debate on the C6 Corvette for years.

Some if it could be gearing. GENERALLY, taller rear gearing will result in slightly higher hp readings. I'm not sure what rear gears the M6 has vs the A8.

Looks like timing pulls on the top end for the A8. Bad gas?

Timing pulls are usually an abrupt dip. This one is consistent indicating timing very unlikely to have been pulled.

OP, was there other runson the dyno that the A8 did that verified it's power?

Yes there were multiple runs and pretty consistent. Guess we'll just chock this one up to gearing and trans differences. Mine will make more power soon

I am guessing that's why the SS with auto has a graph that becomes more wavy at the top end? Not sure why else there would be a diff.

Both cars have NPP exhaust also

Only other thing I can think of is timing being pulled due to false knock or something???
DOD has nothing t do with this. Gearing might.

Not sure what this has to do with anything? Pull is made entirely in 6th gear

I really don't care if its 20 hp, take them to the strip and that 22 hp disappears right off the line. Don't fool yourself with a dyno numbers, mine made 395 and went 11.71 with just skinnies, slicks and CAI and made 6 other passes within 4 hundredths and I had 1 pass that was over 121 and another over 120. Not seen one manual with my mods that's faster. Now that I'm super charged and making 544/559 I'll run much quicker numbers then a supercharged m6 with the same mods. There is one manual that's run really quick with nitrous and I applaud him and his driving skills, most can't do what Beasley did. They are both still fun to drive and I've had many manuals and this A8 will make you want to kiss your sister. Ha

Just saying in general. People love the HP and TQ numbers but most don't realize if you can't plant it then it's just not really relevant. For instance I want 600-650 to wheels but if I can't plant it then I have to either dial it back or make other changes to be able to plant the power.
