Which part of the VIN designates transmission and what letter is for Automatic on the ZL1?

a dealer has these two

1G1FK1R62H0188462 described as A10

1G1FJ1R60H0189130 described as M6

I thought it was the fourth alphanumeric spot, but I'm guessing if this is accurate an A10 and a M6, it must be the K vs. the J?

Oh, ok the F is just Camaro, the K and J must be ZL1 Auto vs. ZL1 Manual. Sometimes you can't trust the descriptions on the dealer website.

They have to give it the dealer prep special....you know go over every panel with a dirty rag...people pay extra for that! GM does it for free...even lists it on the window sticker.
