Mlee, That is so cool that you get to track your car.... The 3/27 TPW seems so far away for me... I want you guys to get your cars like asap so you can share with us your thoughts on the A10... I am sure it will be all smiles...

If your car (VIN) shows up on this site, does that mean it is purely traveling by truck? For example, mine shows up with an origin of Grand River and my dealer as the destination. Anyone know the answer?

Maryland will not be by truck.... it will go by train.

That was my expectation. But why would the Jack Cooper site show the origin and destination? Is it covering truck and rail transport? I plugged in a couple other VINs and they don't show that information. I would expect all the early VINs to show on there.

Jack Cooper is car carriers..... the they use the rail system for long deliveries and carriers after rail unload.....

600 miles or less transporting is by truck, no train involved.

ver 600 miles, train from Michigan to the distribution center that serves your dealer, then by truck to the dealership.

The Jack Cooper company is dispatching (making the decision who takes what build) as well as transporting. GM surrenders control once the build is turned over to dispatch unless GM "calls" it back for a QC problem.
