Haha, technically the answer is nobody!!! You get what you pay for, if you go with a cheap set up you'll deal with drone, if you go for a good sounding system with no drone, you have to pay up!
- Magnaflow is one of the deeper exhausts, they are expensive and drone like crazy - Stainless works is deep also, probably drones a little less than Magnaflow - Borla has the least drone but they are not as deep sounding, the Atak is the loudest but has a higher pitch, the S-type is a little deeper but not as loud, but the best part is neither of them have any drone - MBRP is probably one of the cheapest options out there, not sure if they have any drone issues, I'd ask around on that one, they are the cheapest I've seen, but be careful, they make a stainless and an aluminum version (aluminum is cheapest but I'd avoid aluminum at all costs) I personally went with Magnaflow in the beginning because it had a nice deep tone, biggest mistake I made, it droned like crazy so I switched to Borla Stype. It was expensive but it sounds great, has no drone, and is very manageable under cruising speeds and opens up when you stomp on it. If I had to make a suggestion to someone who wants quality but doesn't want to pay a lot is to do it right with one of the Borla systems but shop around for a used unit, that's what I did and saved a ton, keep your eye out on the forum, but also check out craigs and ebay! Here's some sound clips on my set up: |

That sounds a lot better than stock npp IMO.

Here's a better sound clip... mounted right by the exhaust tip!
SOUND CLIP I would say it's twice as loud as NPP and a little deeper / more aggressive, but when you have the NPP valves closed or are just cruising on the highway you don't really hear it. |
