Any ideas on what 13.5 = 575 @ 500 means?

Didn't even catch that when I first watched it. Not sure what that means.

It's at the back of the car on the last picture at the the drag strip. Covered by the smoke.

Still basically a hellcat but this car will probably turn mid to low 10's in the 1/4 mile. Just curious how far dodge will push the HP on this car. Cool that they are even doing something like this.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that the #2576@35 stands for...

2576/4(wheels) = 644lb-ft @ 3500rpms

644lb-ft to all 4 wheels my friends.

And how many AWD systems handling 644lb-ft or more of torque not in a $300K+ car do you know of? Why would they go through lengths to lighten the front end only to add a much heavier AWD system. And exactly how are they saving weight off the Hellcat with the Demon with said AWD system?

RWD buddy, there is no debate.

Why put a 315 tire on the front of a RWD drag car when trying to save weight?

Surprise Surprise. The fact that Dodge is going to release the fastest production street legal car in history is nothing new.

Well if that rumor actually pans out their excuse was so you can swap the tires after a few passes to keep the tires lasting longer. Seems like a stupid idea to me because if you can afford to buy a dedicated drag car, you should have no problems with buying tires. But the tease about the crate with all the stuff needed to change tires seems to back up this rumor. If it was AWD, there would be no need for anything to change tires.

Hate to say it, but that is nothing new....there's always a "new" fastest production car. But there definitely are some "firsts" with this car.
