Thanks!
I am very disappointed in mine, installed correctly, only works half the time. Plus beeps randomly. I am ready to rip it out of the car.

Mine working great. At first I had an aiming issue. But it's sorted now. I also have the front splitter. You have to approach curbs slowly and it gives you enough fair warning.

I received my curb alert last night in the mail and read over the install instructions. Just watched the video that Glenn posted on the 1st page. Now that I've seen the calibration instructions I'm wondering when I park my car in the garage if its going to hold a constant beep because I have a little rubber ball that hangs in the garage so I know how far to pull in and I'm quite sure the little curb in my garage that my hotwater heater tank sits on is going to trigger this thing.

DoH!. Guess I didn't think this through .

It doesn't continually beep and repeat. It does it only once. You'd have to back out and pull in repeatedly to trigger it again and again.

I like mine. Been on 6 months now. I did go back & modify the door jamb wiring to use the rubber grommet access hole that was recommended by Whity1, so it now looks clean to me for the install. I would do this mod again, so it's a thumbs up from me.

The only concern I have now is that some parking spots around where I live have the lines marked at what looks like a 30 degree angle to the curb, so the right front splitter area is still something to watch for when coming into these type of parking spots. But that is just situational awareness. I'm more concerned when my wife comes into a situation like this, & forgetting that the beep doesn't apply for this type of parking spot. Don't tell her I said that!

Got mine installed and calibrated successfully the other day. I did notice for the first time since installing it that it went off a few times on the highway to work. Not sure what's up with that. Does that happen to anyone else on occasion?

Will do. The first time I drove with it a good distance it was perfect no falses at all but this morning for some reason it chirped twice on my commute.

After the first calibration wait a few weeks and you can manually adjust it with your hands and the Allen wrench up or down to where you eliminate 99% of the false alarms. You can take it up quite a bit and still see curbs, and keep it from hitting on the ground when your suspension flexes. It's really not rocket science, it just takes you fiddling with it a bit.....also make sure the Allen wrench is extremely tight so it holds the position, I've had a few people install it , somewhat hand tighten and on the first bump it falls out of position.

Seems like this thing should come with two sensors. One for straight ahead and one for angle parking (right front corner). Also seems a bit expensive IMO.

It's all in your perspective....I think 150 is cheap to save my front end. It works, is simple to install on the Camaro and invisible.

Im a bit disappointed with mine. I simply don't trust it enough to pull forward into anything. I still back in. The reason I don't trust it is.. In my garage I actually have a parking stop. Similar to the curbs you find in parking lots. Its so I don't pull to close to my hotwater heater.

The Curb alert will go off as I approach it about half the time. Some days it will beep as I'm inching close and other times completely silent and my front tire will get stopped by the parking curb and I can't go any further.

Luckily my front splitter clears that parking curb no problem.
