Borla part numbers 11924 and 60606 combine the s type axle back (11924) and the x pipe with midpipe and secondary cat delete (60606).

I have the Borla 16 Chevy Camaro SS 6.2L w/ Dual NPP S-Type 11924. Not installed yet, as the car is still in storage. I did quite a bit of research, and for me this is the sound I am looking for. Hope it sounds as good as the Videos! LOL........... I did axle back only, as the convertibles have more "support structures" underneath........

I didn't cut anything and my tips tuck like stock. They may stick out a smidgen further than stock.

No, mine do not stick out this far at all. Installer probably didn't follow the instructions to use a rubber mallet to "seat" the slip fits into place before clamping. Failure to do this will cause an extra 2-3 inches to stick out the rear and probably exhaust leaks. (This is if you have the full catback)

If OP only has the axle back then the installer didnt cut the stock midpipe in the right place and left too much length on the midpipe.

I used a dead blow hammer to seat mine. I didn't want them sticking out a mile.

Good Choice! I feel the same way about my S-Type. I agree, although the Atak is the loudest, it is higher pitched. The S-Type has a deeper exhaust note which many people seem to prefer (my guess is the Atak would have had drone if they didn't change the tone to make it slightly higher pitched). That's the premium you pay for when you get Borla... no drone, worth every penny to me. I had a Magnaflow that had a nice deep tone, but it droned so bad that I ripped it off within a week and got Borla.

I made a video a month or so ago on my set up. I've got the S-type with NPP and the mid pipes & x pipe with AFM valves. I have start up, acceleration, drive by, & inside (windows up and down) but nothing compares to hearing it in person!

Your car sounds good, I watched your video before making my decision. Mine is an M6 so I got the 11924 & 60606. Couldn't be happier. Borla is at the top of the food chain for exhausts in my opinion. Sounds like our Impala when going down the highway in 6th...silent.

Yeah, I love how it's silent when your cruising on the highway in a high gear, they have a good design to have it quiet for long road trips, loud when you stomp on it, and no drone, can't really ask for anything else in an exhaust!

Oh and, something I didn't really notice is that the car is MUCH louder from the outside of the car, it sounds so good from the outside. You have to have a friend drive it down the block so you can hear it.

I recorded this with my GoPro right by my exhaust tips and it is absolutely sick!

How would you say sound is from the inside, main reason why NPP isn't doing it for me is I have to have backseats down and windows down to really hear the damn thing lol

I can hear it inside the car with the windows up and seats up. Haven't even tried the seats and windows down yet, but I will.

It's significantly louder from the inside, especially if you crack or roll your window down. It's not just louder, it growls more/it has a deeper tone. You can also hear it much earlier in the RPM band, right around 2-3k rpm it has a nice note on a pull where the stock NPP you couldn't' really hear that thing until 4-5k on a really hard pull.

Also, after 1,000 miles on it, some of the packing wears and everything settles out and it gets a little louder which is nice because like with any exhaust you get used to it eventually.

I have some sound clips of the inside (windows up & down) in my YouTube video. You can skip to those section of the video by clicking the skip buttons on the screen in the beginning of the video!
