Mild2Wild for 6th Gen
Didn't find any posts in search. Curious as to whether anyone has installed this on their NPP equipped car yet. I just emailed the guys who make it and confirmed the C7 version will work on our cars (since it's controlled the same way). Someone mentioned the other day that leaving the NPP fuse out caused a lot of water to build up in the "muffled" pipes, so I put my fuse back in for the first time in months. So now I want the convenience of using a remote to perform the fuse pull.
If anyone has it installed, where did you ground the module and run the antennae wire? Thanks

Watch his video on the Wild2Mild module, especially at the end where you can start the car in stealth mode. Its the same module for the Corvette and Camaro with NPP exhaust....installed mine last week and its perfect with very easy installation (RPI shows a how too video on a Gen6 Camaro). You can even program two of your Homelink buttons (unless you are already using them) to open or close the flaps instead of using the provided remotes. A note for those that have done the fuse pull to keep the exhaust always open....the first time I returned the exhaust to stealth (after months of running only in open mode), there was a lot of water from the drain holes which surprised me. I know to expect alittle water at first startup, but this was more than I ever saw before. After thinking about this, all I can surmise is that since the inner exhaust tips (that only open in stealth) were never opening, condensation was accumulating and was not allowed to drain. Just something to think about and check for those that are going to maintain the fuse pull.

Thanks for the videos. I saw the C7 one but not one for a 6th gen. I think you were the one I heard mention the water in the pipes.

I installed one a while back but I had to swap the fuse tap to make it work.

Yup, that was me. To keep the water from accumulating too much, I just switch the exhaust to mild once in awhile to clear that side of the muffler. I really like the Mild2Wild addition...I feel its a lot better than just doing the fuse pull since you retain the ability to go back to stealth mode whenever you want. Since I also programmed two of the unused homelink buttons, I don't even have to use the remotes.

So I've ran into an issue installing mine and need some advice.
Apparently my fuse box configuration differs from RPI's and everyone else I have seen. This prevents me from installing the tap in same orientation as in the video. With it installed like I can, the controller does not work. I get 12Vs on the red wire but no power on the white regardless of what buttons I hit on the remote. So it seems the box is stuck in bypass mode. Pic 1: my fuse box with tap installed the only orientation I can get it in. Pic 2: tap and fuse 51 removed so you can see the layout Pic 3: This is how the fuse box is for the RPI car and others I have found. There appears to be no difference from the owners manual for '16 and '17 cars. Even more interesting, the manual says K6 is for a Coolant Pump. So I can find no reason why mine has it and others do not. Pic 3 came from a 1SS, RPI's may be a 1SS too IDK. That's the only lead I have now. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Valves will close at cruise throttle regardless of what mode is set for Engine Sound Management. That's the purpose of the fuse pull/remote to keep the valves open at all times.

Not sure if this will help you but I have the Forza controller, which is basically the same thing. The car has to be set to stealth under NPP. Then I had to map the buttons on the remote and my homelink - one to open and the other to close. It only works if you have the car set in stealth though.
Here's a pic from Forza's install manual...it should be the same as yours: ![]() I had mine put it when they installed my jammer and the guy didn't like the fuse taps, so he used something else. This from under my hood:
