I don't want to go too dark. Anything darker than 25% here is illegal, and I still don't have a front plate on my car. Just don't want to get pulled over all the time.

I did 20% all the way around except the eyebrow. The eyebrow is the darkest he carries and it super helps when the sun is in your face above it.
I did 35% on my last camaro and it never seemed like it was dark enough, especially in the back window.

For me, 20% has been a perfect position. Car looks a lot better, blocks a bit of heat, blocks a LOT of sun glare, and it's not so dark that it looks like a high school punk's car. And the best part of that is I haven't drawn any police attention. Night driving is fine, although a little challenging in really dark places like a neighborhood with poor lighting. You get used to it though. |
