There were a few reasons. My Z51 C7 Stingray was the A8 auto transmission. The car was bad ass but it was my daily driver and daily driving a corvette was just not good for me. I was always worrying about it getting messed up i.e. rock chips in paint or pot holes or whatever. It was fun to drive but the A8 is so good that it does everything for you and I missed that manual feeling. You might say well why didn't you buy a manual C7? I got this particular vette because they had an amazing deal on it. So I got the 1LE because it was a beautiful and very capable car. It has the 6 speed manual and is a blast to drive. Plus it is a lot less expensive than the C7 so I don't feel as bad daily driving the Camaro. Last but not least in an emergency situation if I had to pick up the kids and I was out in the vette, no seats for the kids besides passenger side. At least with the Camaro I can squeeze them in the back seat.

I'd love to see pictures of those. I saw them on the ZL1addons site, but those pictures don't really do justice for seeing how they look overall on the car. I already had clearbra installed on the lower doors and rocker panels (even a double sheet right in front of the rear tires), but I'd like to add another level of protection if they look good.

Picked mine up yesterday, enjoying the crap out of it so far. I came from having a couple Mustangs and Audi's (traded in a 2016 S4 for this), so I was shocked at how much fun this car was to drive. I plan on taking it to some track days, Wild Horse Pass is about 20 minutes from my house, and Chuckwalla is next weekend

Everytime I see black/mosaid black metallic I nearly start kicking myself for ordering the hyper blue..... a hhhhhhhhh this car looks sooo good in every color!!
