I have had mixed feedback from people on the other end of the line. Most say it's good sound quality. I've had a few calls that people tell me to get them off speaker!

I have the same problem with my hands free mic in my 2016 SS. I sound robotic and distant most times. There ARE times when it's acceptable. Incoming sounds great.

If anyone else is having a similar issue I urge you to get your dealer to check you windshield for leaks around the Mic.

Hey there, I am having the exact same issue. Can you tell me who your dealer is so that I could possibly have mine speak with the service department about doing the same to mine? I would greatly appreciate it!!

Of course. My dealer is Davis Gainesville Chevrolet and my service advisor who knows everything about my case (just mention my name, Giri) is Destin Swatman. He's amazing!

I have to talk pretty loudly for people to hear me while i'm driving in the car. factory exhaust and induction systems, even on Tour mode.

Not sure if this is a mic issue, or just how the car is.

I could see it being that way if the mic were on the OUTSIDE of the car. So no, it's not supposed to be that way

So it turns out that my service guy talks with your service guy and is told that replacing the door mirror is what ended up solving the issue. Sound right?

For the most part. Mirror, mirror gasket on outside, and the gasket on the side

Well my dealer has totally dismissed me and this issue. I can't use the Bluetooth for calls at all. The background noise is too terrible.

I have the same issue, but its only certain people who can't hear me, and the certain person who can't hear me can't hear anyway. I just need to confirm if the person who always complains about it can hear me when stopped, this would eliminate the mirror wind noise causing the problem. I have a 2017 SS.

Purchased a 2016 Camaro RS and I too am having the same issues with people trying to hear me when I call using the Bluetooth feature (with or without the Apple Play connected). They can hear me fine when not moving, however sounds like a wind tunnel when at a higher speed. Called GM Infotainment and they can only offer suggestions that may be either phone or pairing related.....which it is not. Seems like a lot of us Camaro owners are going thru the same issues.

Anyone with a definitive answer here? No one and I mean NO ONE can hear me in my 2017 2SS. Dealer is pretty good about working with me, but I always like to go in with a solution rather than have the dealer blindly searching for the issue.
