What you don't know, is I'm going to take her with me back to France.
I have to had an extra 15k (FR carbon taxes, FR title, mods and EU homologation...).
So the ZL1 will be 68000$+ 15000€=80000€
Where it will be imported (some time or not) around 100000€
So my 10-15k$ Loss Will still be less than the regular EU price....
But I agree
We are talking about a lot of k$!!!!!
But I think the car worth it

IMO trading a 2016 or 2017 SS to buy a ZL1 or 1LE is a little bit crazy. These must be the people who will have less than $100k in their IRA and no pension other than social security when they get to be 67 years old.

Normally I'd blame kids and people making the mistake of having them, but even if you did ruin your perfectly kid-free life you would have at least a couple years before they became an issue for your awesome camaro.
Ha! Nominated for post of the year award!

Who's knows for sure but I'm keeping mine for 3 to 5 years I even thought of trading for a 2014 up corvette but decided it's not worth the hit from a financial stand point for a basically the same performance car and I really do love this car!

From here I don't know where I will go I love the lotus evora and the alpha Romeo and the new stingray all really good head turning cars.

I wanted a bang for the buck like my cobalt ss turbo was in 2008 and I got just that
Man, Alfas' have been gaining my attention lately. That new Guilia seems pretty rad. I'd need a manual though, otherwise that c63S might get my money (I'm day dreaming here....) The BMW M2 gets nothing but great reviews. Of COURSE the new Corvette GS; that'd probably get the win from me. Or a Gen. 5 Z/28. Mmmmmm
I should be happy with my LS2 V1 or my C5Z -which I am- but there's so many others..... I have a problem.

2SS here and very happy to keep my machine. I will upgrade mods and parts along the way. Also I don't view the 1LE as an upgrade, it's a track car and my 2SS is worth more then 1LE, so you track guys stay on the track and enjoy replacing your parts a lot quicker because off hard track conditions.

It's being happy with what you got and enjoy it and not getting into I need to upgrade cars constantly.

I feel like this could have been said more simply without jabbing at the 1LE folks.

Take it to one of the tuners around and get the 650hp for 10K saving you about 30K after the upgrade.

I'll be happy to replace parts. Being on the track is where the real fun is at and where real skill lies.

I am sure he is not viewing it as a jab. If you did, toughen up!!!!

It's a model type of a Camaro with a track package.

I view the line of Camaro's like this.
V4 turbo, V6 Lt1, V6 Lt2, SS1, SS2, ZL1, Z28 (whenever it's released) Copo Camaro.

Those are upgrades in order, according to my opinion. You can add the 1LE package perhaps between the 1SS and 2SS or if you feel after the 2SS depending on your own personal view.

But you'll still be without the aero improvements, the A10 transmission, and all the other upgrades that make the ZL1 such an amazing package.

It's way, way more than just a SS with a blower on it.

I paid for my 17 ss in full back in August and knew damn well the Zl1 was 10 weeks away. I'd rather do exactly what I'm doing right now and have a loaded manual 2ss 5o, and build my motor and suspension to be much faster than a Zl1 and still save 15-20k.
