Anyone leasing?

Seems like a decent idea to me, have some fun and turn it back in when done.

Skip the sales tax, stay under warranty and walk away in four years.

That down payment is too large. When I lease I pay at most the first payment. For my former 13 ZL1 lease with US Bank it was 1st payment only.

I wouldn't mind a leased ZL1 when it's the right time for me (June 17) though.

Just for a laugh, I checked the Penfed loan rates (purchase, obviously) for the same financed amount of $67,442.00....

$1084/month 72 months for GM @ 4.9%
$1017/month 72 months for Penfed @ 2.74%
$1189/month 60 months for Penfed @ 2.24%

That's just off Chevy's web site, I'm sure my dealer can do better.

We just leased my wife's 1500 and it was just the first payment and the plates cost of $69.50 for two years. Seems like on the Camaro it might be a good fit for us.

I am hoping i can find a 60 month below 2.24% when my car arrives. My Goal is do a 60 month and pay it off in 36.

I would do a lease if i didn't plan on keeping the car.

Oh I see. Cool. Let us know if you lease. Good luck. I prefer this option as well.

You still pay taxes, it's just calculated based on what it depriciates. Basically, you only pay taxes on half the cost of the car rather than the whole purchase price.
