You guys are killing it! Exhausts look great, thanks for the weight info (some of us are kinda nerdy like that... Me...)
Catted downpipe looks tasty, any weight savings even though it's still catted?

Also might you guys be planning any 'combo' dyno runs (ie: no muffler exhaust + no cat downpipe?)

Also are the dyno charts you're posting with or without tuning?...maybe i missed that...

Now if we could only get some Sound Clips....

Great job on the fab. work and all of the effort on the new wicked exhaust. I would love to hear all of the applications.

Thanks guys,

EagleRS

+1 still waiting for a 'pleasant' sounding exhaust to hit the market (don't hang me guys) haven't heard one yet I'm 'in love' with... My kia koup could never compare to the camaro, but man, its the nicest sounding 4 cylinder factory exhaust I've ever heard; would love a similar sound for the Camaro, just with a bit more 'attitude' (read hissing, snorting and popping)

At the usual 15% loss calc, that would put us at 460/460 which is slightly higher than the 455/455 advertised. This dyno with the 15% gives you 281. Maybe the 15% is too high with todays transmissions and drive train?
Shouldn't be any debate. GM certifies the engine to make XXX HP/YYY TQ via a standard test. http://standards.sae.org/j1349_201109/
If you're not comparing to the standard, your result will be flawed. An unknown chassis dyno will have many variables as well that can't be duplicated. You can influence the power figure just by the location of the tires on the rollers, how tight you strap a car down, tire pressure, etc.

Disregarding everything else I said, by coming up with 460hp and 281hp by applying the bench racing method of 15% should be well within the tolerance of said measurement method. You guys are splitting hairs over 5hp??? You can't find anything better to do?

Thanks!!!! We have an aggressive schedule to launch parts for this 2.0L (t) and being a company that has capability to do everything in-house (waterjet cutting flanges, CNC mandrel-tube bending, etc), we can accomplish this without any downtime if we had to out-source.

Unfortunately we do not do combo dyno runs since we sell each part separately, plus we do not offer packages.

I will post the weight difference once I post the dyno chart.

All dyno charts are without tuning and just bolt-on and go.

We will definitely get you guys sound clips, we are currently working on them now but will not have a final one until all the parts are complete, we do an video sound clip to include all the exhaust parts.

Guys,

Here is the dyno chart for the prototype Hooker BlackHeart Down-Pipe w/ Cat. The car REALLY responded well as you can see.

Now we must put 600-800 miles on this prototype with multiple key cycles to ensure our high-flow cat will not emit a check engine light.

I'll keep everyone posted, furthermore, I should have the prototype Hooker BlackHeart Down-Pipe w/o Cat completed today so I'll post a spy shot soon.
