HELP! MSD rough idle dying

Hello I just put on the MSD air force intake. I double checked everything, Maf is facing the right way, all the lines where on and good. Started it up and it ran for about 30 seconds fine while it warmed up. Once it was warmed up it just ran rough wouldn't take any gas from the peddle and died. Tried starting it again and got backfire and rough idle again then died. I do not hear any air leaks. Car is stock other that a CAI intake and secondary cat deletes. Car is giving me no lights on the dash just running like its super cammed then dying. Tried starting it twice with same results. PLEASE HELP!!!

I would keep checking for a air leak, maybe missing bolt, they have been known to ship without enough bolts.

I came across that problem actually and replaced the bolt. All the bolts are in it and torqued to spec. Car does not run long enough to get out and check. Really frustrating.

It has to be something simple. Go back through the instructions msd sent and see if you didn't plug something back up, etc. None of the plug wires got pulled out accidentally?

I'm going to tripple check everything tomorrow, plugs are a good idea to look at. If I get the same problem then ill take it off and put it on again going slower this time. If that dose not work then Ill just put the stock back on and pray the problem isn't something worse. Fingers crossed. Its acting like its got the worlds biggest air leak but everything is buttoned up :(

If this only happened once the new intake was installed! Then install the OEM back on headache I know but it ran then didn't it? And see if it starts that would weed out the problem being the aftermarket intake!

Thumbs down

Whelp found my air leak. Put the stock im back on and she purred like a kitten. Taped off the runners on the msd and poured water in it. Lo and behold the back right corner has a massive leak. I took the MSD apart and resealed it three times with the same result back right corner leaking. (See video of last try). Extremely disappointed especially for the price of this unit I was unimpressed before but now i'm really bummed.
