This must be some sort of record...
Since I have a car issued to me at work, I rarely drive my 2SS. Unfortunately I have only driven it for short trips around town to run errands - nothing fun yet. So I went for a short drive last night to get some food. On the way home I hear a "pop" then "thump thump thump thump" all the way home. I already know what it is. I decide I'll check the air pressure in the AM since I won't be driving it all weekend anyway. About 30 minutes later I get an email from OnStar saying my right rear tire is flat. I only have 225 miles on the odometer!
![]() TL;DR: Flat tire at 225 miles. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Still love the car. |

Had a brick bounce of the front end of my 12 hour old Silverado......
And a windshield cracked from a rock kicked up on the way home from the dealer on a new one a few years earlier. My last Camaro had a flat at 700 miles, so you beat my personal best. NOTHING surprises me. Hope it all works out for you and your baby gets put back together quick ! |

But the tires were still new to the market, and $450 per TIRE......6 months later, they were being sold for $280.....

Is wrapping the car in multiple layers of bubble wrap tacky?

After purchasing my Camaro, I had to drive back to the dealer to pick up my wife's car. While on I-90 I hit a fox while going 65mph. The car had about 50 miles on it at the time. Had to clean off blood, fur, and had a little crease in the front bumper (only noticeable to me). These things happen.
I've put another 12k on without any other issues. |

I always pay for road hazard. It is well worth it. Had ours go flat Christmas Eve. Run flats are great!

Mine had less than 100 miles when a tire went low. I had a license plate screw in the tire. Patched (for free) and no further problems.

I used to be a mechanic for a Saab dealer and a guy picked up his new Saab and hit a deer on his way home with less than 50 miles on it... the Saab not the deer.
Top that!

That's the breaks with driving on the streets. Get it repaired and don't worry about having problems in the future. Enjoy your Camaro!!

In my Subaru Outback, I had a bad stretch where I got 6 flat tires in the span of a year and a half. Screws, nails, chunks of metal, even a rock caused these. Used to joke I had magnets in the wheels, and even went so far as to buy new wheels to clear any bad mojo. Haven't had a flat since. *knock on wood*
Also once had a Toyota Yaris (don't judge) where I had a cracked windshield replaced only to have the new one crack two weeks later. My Camaro's been fine so far, though both passenger tires will need some air once spring hits.
