It has part number FM277001 stamped on it. One website described it as CHEVROLET CAMARO 6.2L CLUTCH VALVE 2016 A657604-1 FM27007 PA66-GF35 FM277001 Also found it on a foreign ebay and it looks like GM used it in Opels for a while and they call it a bias valve. I hope the fix is something simple...will update everyone on the outcome.

any chance it allows for adjustment of the clutch engagement point? mine is on the higher side, and I would love it to be lower. it's harder to modulate it with your leg/knee compared to you foot/ankle.

My clutch does the same thing when quick release like that... I thought it was normal. I guess I'm wrong if it doesn't happen to other peeps with manual. I guess I'll have to take it in too. :(

Dealer ordered a new master cylinder. Part should be in within a couple days. Fingers crossed that this is the problem.
