I had the recall performed yesterday and I also noticed some sort of knocking/clanking in the left front. When I got home I checked the torque on the wheels thinking maybe they didn't torque them all the way down or something. I have never heard any kind of front end noise in 10k miles, then 2 miles after the bulletin I noticed it.

I guess I'm gonna jack it up and look around.

Mines going in next week for this and I'm worried as well the car will come back with issues they created.

Update:
After 4 days in the shop the car is ready. I talked to the Tech Master who was very frustrated. They had to take out the whole exhaust system , re-flush the coolant and A8 fluid (at least I got them to do the Track Day A8 fluid check/fill for free). Sad that GM is only paying them for 5 hours of labor.

I'll say my prayers that nothing will start rattling in the next few days.

Took mine in last Friday to get the lines replaced. I planned on waiting and did for about two hours and in typical dealer fashion they needed more time since my tech was going to remove the front bumper. I didn't want the tech to rush, so I said no problem. They put me in a really nice Silverado and off I went. Got a call later on that evening that they were going to have order a couple clips that they wouldn't be able to get until Monday. So I was without my car all weekend, but I had the truck so it wasn't too bad. Monday came and I got my car after work. I inspected the thing like a hawk and all was and is well. Hopefully no more recalls!!

That's all mine took, it just depends on the car.

The inspection and stud removal takes no more than an hour, and if that's all you need, you're lucky, if they find more issues that's when it starts to get labor intensive.

I ended speaking with a different person, who said an 'A' level tech had to look at it and they don't work weekends (the first person scheduled me for Saturday at 1pm with the shop closing at 2pm).

Anyway, going in tomorrow - planning to get the Android update also.

Well mine is back in the shop..

Last night I drove the car some more. The knocking/clanking also included some sloppy steering and the car pulled to the right pretty hard. It felt like maybe the rack was loose or something, although I tried to grab/move the rack by hand and I couldn't.

I dropped it off at the dealer this morning and they said it was a bolt/bushing install issue with the rack.. My guess is they put the bolt in and left the bushing out or something. They have to take it all back apart to fix it, then they are going to align the car. Hopefully they solve the problem and don't F anything else up.

I really wish I had NOT done the trans line replacement recall.

Fingers are crossed...

Thanks.

The car is fixed. The dealer said the bushing that is in the rack that the bolts go through some how was crooked/cock eyed...(my guess is left out all together but..).. Took them all day but they got the bushing in correctly and the car drives great, straight as an arrow, didn't even need an alignment...

Also got my wheels repainted in gloss black and they came out great.(while it was in for the trans line recall). Now the car is like new again. Hopefully it stays that way.

Got my car back this evening - recall was done including replacement of the lines, and Android Auto installed. No problems noted on picking up the car, other than a lot of fingerprints LOL.

Well dropped car off at dealers this morning for the trans line recall, they gave me a Malibu lol, just got a call now from them telling me they will not be able to complete all the work today as it's labour intesive and it should be done mid day tomorrow. God I hate this, what do they have to remove off the car to complete this? I hope I don't get it back with a whole bunch of new issues

Welcome to the club. It took me 4 days to get my car back. Knock on wood, everything is working well + I got a "free" transmission fluid change.
