2016 2SS Cold Air Intake

Hey Everyone...! I purchased my 2016 2SS, 8 speed automatic about three months ago and I'm really enjoying the ride. I'm seeking your advice on what’s the best cold air intake. I’ve researched so many that my head is spinning. Your help is GREATLY appreciated…!!

I think most people like the roto-fab CAI

Get a k&n drop in filter, they produce just fine!!!!! until the Gm intake for the SS rolls out.

Reliable sources state that the Cold Air Inductions and Roto-fab make similar gains...

Get a bucket of ice. If it doesn't cool the intake, it will cool your beer.

I went with this one. https://www.coldairinductions.com/ch...air-intake-772 I am pretty sure this is the same one in the new 2017 Chevrolet Performance catalog. Very nice unit and it looks good also.

Not sure I'd be thrilled about a GM tune. If it's anything like HD, the tunes are lacking... I have a Cold Air Inductions I bought used for $232. After other projected mods I will have a real tune done to maximize performance. My guess is the GM tune isn't as much performance orientated, rather compliance orientated.

Im not sure but the good thing is I was told that even after you add more mods they reflash it for you. We shall see

Cold Air Inductions intake looks a lot like GM's upcoming system and I wouldn't mind trying out the GM CAI in the future but I'm running the Roto-Fab system, looks great underneath the hood and there is definitely some sort of power gain higher up in the rpm.

I did the Cold Air Inductions intake. I like the way it looks and it makes the exhaust sound a little deeper.

It is in the 2017 Chevrolet Performance catalog and it does not mention anything about including a tune.
