Does anyone know when Garnet red will come off of constraint? And does the carbon dash insert still kill an order?

Thanks to ALL for the shared thoughts. I'll just wait for Feb 9th and hope 3DL isn't a constraint and my order sails in!

Does anyone know when the GM build site will open again to submit new orders? My dealer is telling me its been closed for the past few days.

Probably when the limited run of Green is finished.

What limited run of Green? It was my understanding that the Green wasn't available yet to order at all.

In December I placed a ZL1 order with my local dealer who has been waiting for the 3DL constraint (carbon fiber instrument panel) to be lifted so he can submit to GM. He contacted me this week to tell me that 3DL has now been removed as an option from the workbench. It has also been removed as an option from the customer-facing "Build Your Own" website. He inquired through the regional rep to GM and learned that it won't be available until at least April and will probably be delayed until MY18. He couldn't find out if it was a QC problem, airbag issue, or other. Based on this update, I approved submitting the order without the 3DL. Wanted to share this in case anyone else was waiting on this option.

Thanks for that info.. I was torn between waiting for it or just keeping my order as is. Now I don't need to think about it anymore..

I want the carbon dash as well - My dealer has indicated that it will be available sometime in February - So possibly in time for the Feb 9 - cycle.
