What are some relatively inexpensive mods for the V6?

Looking to do some changes on my car and want to know what mods are out there to increase performance, etc. I'm not looking to supercharge or anything but just some entry level/ intermediate mods that don't cost an arm and a leg.

is an arm and a leg 400 bucks for maybe 10-15hp if you're being optimistic?

because above drop-in filters and diy porting that you do with stuff you already own ...that's about entry level buy in for power gains.

other than the free stuff like removing weight.

Ported TB from V-maxx. 150$ its 350 upfront, but 200$ when you ship the core back. driveability and low to mid range pull is increased.

Drop-In filter 50$ compared to stock there is a noticeable difference. forum member even dynode it to see consistent small gains.

beware though, theres quite a few mods that people write off, cause its not something that fits their goals, or they have little experience in said mod, so they denounce it as bad or doesn't work.

granted there are things like intake spacers, which usually don't work, but most use those for nitrous plates or port inclusions to the intake. now an intake manifold spacer has been proven to work on these style engines. its just a matter of finding someone to make one. DIY stuff.

once you get to intakes and exhaust, which DO work, you push 400-800$ relatively cheap in my view considering legit boost options start at 5-6,000$

I have looked for this off and on since i bought the car, but i can't seem to figure out where to pick one up.

I see a few of them for '10-'15 years, but can't spot any for '16/'17

in my view, I had it BEFORE both the intake and exhaust. def worth it in my view! I knew what to look for and expect coming from using the same on the LFX engine. eliminates the dead spots, more low to mid range pull and punch. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showpo...81&postcount=1

contact pete if interested
