Brought mine in today to have my drivers seat cover replaced where it was pulling from the handle near the head rest, so the tech ripped the new cover trying to get it on, mine also needs the new lines so they are keeping the car there until they get the new lines and cover. When I called and made the appointment I told them that mine needs to be done, they were like well we need to check before we order parts. They gave me a traverse as a rental.

Took all day.

Should be good, mine was done a couple of weeks ago, the only issue I had was that the tech forgot to plug back in the O2 sensor and threw a CEL as soon as got into the car before I left the dealership.

Hopefully that's it...They couldn't get a new seat cover on in one piece LOL....You going to make it to Camaro Fest this year?

Lol...mine was done by a "world class" tech, supposedly the best my dealer has, real nice job, not one ounce of a greasy fingerprint found, which is shocking since I brought my SRX there last week for an oil change, 30 mins later was done loaded with greasy prints over, the door, hood, under the hood, inside the truck...I was like seriously! Then they wanted to charge me $70 for an oil change! I was like, um no...they basically got it down to half when I said I would just drive it home and do it myself. If it wasn't so cold here last week I would have done it myself.

Not sure, would be nice, have to see what I have going on that time.

Got mine back tonight, and now I have a whistling sound when I press the pedal... Kinda pissed right now

Yeah something is loose, sounds like the engine gasps for air when you press the throttle, You can hear it thanks to the sound tube lol. I called them this morning to let them know, ask the tech on what he did. I plan on checking it out this weekend. If something is broken i will tell them to just order the part, but wanted to call them first thing this morning so they cant say well you broke it.

When I went to pick mine up, they pull it in the garage and shut it off. When I got in, started it up, CEL pops up, tech forgot to attach O2 sensor, not a big deal, but it sucked because it was late when I picked it up and the techs were gone, had to leave it overnight before they fixed it the next morning. Luckily they left it in the garage overnight.

Dealer told me it's 1 day worth of work.
2 days into service they said there's tons of work to be done. They had to take out the whole exhaust system and other stuff. Their estimate now is 3-4 total days of work on the car.
I have a feeling I'm the guinea pig of this recall I hope the car will be back to normal after this service

Had this performed on my car and now I hear a rattle at highway speeds from the front end driver side. Didnt hear it right away since I live in a city and rarely drive on highways. Could the rattle be due to something they did during the recall? (the dealer Automation coral gables has an awful service department)
