So I got bored last night and decided to look at Chevrolet's current Camaro inventory for the US based on data from cars dot com. 7.394 percent of Camaro inventory is 2016 models. Total current inventory is 34,312 Camaros. If they sold 6,000 per month, inventory would be depleted in 5.72 months. GMC: Give us 30% off all 2016's and 20% off all 2017's please! Enjoy!

I believe GM has curtailed production of Camaro and ATS cars. The current incentive is $1,000. I have seen elsewhere inventory is just short of 6 months. That pretty much takes care of 2017. It's possible sales will pick up in the spring especially for verts and cars with summer only tires.

None of this is good for resale value.

Anyone know if they're still doing the 20% off MSRP on the 2016 models? All I saw on the chevy website was 0% APR offer. They need to clear those 2016's out, so it would be crazy if that's the only incentive.

Red Tag 20% off on select 2016 models ended on 1-3-2017.

A local dealer has a few V-6 2016's left with around a $5k discount on a $32k car. 20% off was mainly on verts and some coupes with odd color combinations.

I got mine in late December, every dealer around me only had 2017's in the SS w/2ss package and only offering $1000 rebate. I found mine in Texas for a little over $12k off sticker with GM rebate and dealer incentives. They had 2 left one white one red, slept on it called to buy the white one and it had sold, so red it was! They even trailered it to me the next day after I purchased.
