Mmr m017 rims issue

I purchased this wheelset in November and mounted them first week of December. When i left the shop and got on highway at 60 plus i felt the shakes. Called the place said balance no good set up appointment for the next weekend.I had the wheels rebalanced got on highway and samething .At that point i concluded this shop sucks and today took to a specialist in alignment/balanced. He showned me wheels are very hard to dynamic balance and that on wheel was bent. I called need 4 speed motorsports and explain the issue .They said they couldnt help me cause i drove the car for nearly 4 weeks like this and anything may have happened. Which they have a valid point. Point of this post is if u have an issue address it right away or risk having a bent rim with no proof it came like that. I know i didnt hit a pot hole us car guys would remember that for sure cause it hurts lol. At the end of the day i cant prove it. Address issues the second they appear is the moral of the story.

I feel your pain. Thats why I only buy wheels and tires from a shop I know and trust. The MRR wheels look nice but it may have been bent in shipment. The first shop should have said the wheel is bent.... it is VERY noticeable on a balancing machine.

Good points and sucks to hear you waited but you are handling it properly. Vent with a message not hatred of some one else for your mistake. Hopefully for that you will get a discount or help replacing your rim!

Message MRR on here directly. The wheels have a lifetime structure warranty. I'm sure they'll take care of you.

Agreed, the shame here is the tech at the first shop balanced the wheels twice and said nothing. The specialist today called me in spun wheel and showned me the wobble. I should of known 16 bucks per wheel balance was to good to be true. Lol

MMR stepping up, but IMO need4speed should have done more. I bought my wheels from need4speed and definitely would have hoped they would have at least made a call to MRR to get the process rolling. What exactly did they do for their cut on this deal?

Pretty whack.

As has been said many times on the forum before - a mature and sensible approach gets a mature and sensible response.

Well done to the OP for approaching this in a level headed way, and especially well done to MRR for responding in a way that will keep this customer happy and win them many more in the future

And also nice to see positive outcomes on the forum sometimes :-)
