Best HP mod so far for the V6 is NoDoz. In case you were wondering.
Fixed it for you (Just joking ).

If you performance mod the vehicle, you're basically throwing your powertrain warranty away. Chevy will look to blame your mods for any powertrain issues. Some say they have to prove it, but unless you're willing to spend a lot of $$ on legal fees, they will screw you.

In my opinion, a measly 500HP at the crank isn't worth the loss of your warranty. If you want a very reliable option , go with a Magnuson HB supercharger. You'll get up to 550rwhp + a 3-year powertrain warranty:
http://www.magnusonsuperchargers.com...-62-382-bl.htm

I went with this option. My dyno run was 532rwhp. If you're greedy, you could potentially get another 30-35rwhp with a Rotofab CAI and a Magnuson tune which is supplied by Magnuson specifically for the HB supercharger + Rotofab setup. Be prepared to replace your rims and tires. I went with 285/30/20 front and 305/30/20 in the back w/Nitto NTT5 G2 tires to get more traction. You get a ton of torque in the lower RPM range so be prepared for spin city if you don't upgrade the tires.

There looks to be a certified dealer/installer in your area:

Did you have to make any drive train modifications to support that additional RWHP?

Nope. It's not necessary. The rear axle on the SS is solid. If you're running with racing slicks at a track and pulling down lots of extra HP with mods, an upgrade to a ZL1 driveline kit might be in order. But if you simply want some more power on the streets with the Maggie + drag radials, there's very little risk which is why Magnuson offers a 3yr powertrain warranty.

Vengeance Racing offers a lot of performance packages for GM vehicles. They haven't released the packages for 6th gen on their website yet, but you can check out the 5th gen packages to get an idea of what the 6th gen packages will be.

Thanks for any info.
All the shops listed below are great and offer great service. If your looking for parts Phastek and many other have that.

Seeing you're in CA, I did a lot of looking and talking for my cars build. As miuch as i would be okay with shipping my car off out of state, I found high remarks and great product quality in CMS (Cunningham Motorsports).

At the end of the day there are a ton of shops around and many offer amazing work and services. Word of mouth is great, but I used word of mouth and went back to a ton of 5th gen guys who had builds and look to see which ones lasted and which ones had issues.
