Will GM dealerships void the warranty even tho it is a gm part? Since the part was not originally part of the car from the factory?

I would think not, its a GM part and even requires GM dealer to do a calibration update to the ECM.

Doenst impact warranty at all. In fact, the dealership will warranty this item for 12 months or 12,000 after install and flash.

Hmm really? I read on here that one person was having an issue with their dealership and installing it along with issues after the install and they claimed they can not prove it is a gm product so they didn't want to honor the warranty.

if you follow the link the original post states +30whp and +25wtq gains with intake and tune. if i'm looking at the dyno sheet correctly the runs marked 1 are with CAI & tune and run #2 is with the CAI and without tune as stated by the original post. i am puzzled by the time stamp though as run 2 was done roughly a half hour after run 1. so they installed the intake and tune dynoed and then reflashed to stock to dyno again? puzzled as well. hoping someone will have an opportunity to do a bone stock run. do the complete install and tune and then dyno again to see the results.

I agree with MVP 88. Comeplete install , tune, tben dyno tune . Which would sound better exhaust upgrade or CAI?

Its a dealership. Honesty and helpfulness isnt something that means much to them. That was there way of saying they didnt want to do the work. It has a GM part number and its listed in GM's parts guide.

Well here is a question why is the tq less on max run one than max run two?
The cold air intake was on both times right?
