Any guys here from Quebec and did your dealer get ZL1 allocation yet ? Apparently Quebec the only province in Canada that didn't give out one to date when the rest of Canada have order #'s...

Congratulations on your order!

It's kind of you to help other Canadians get theirs too.

Being a US citizen, I'm all for bolstering the US economy by keeping jobs at home. However, a rising tide should lift all boats; especially with partners and allies as close as our Canadian brethren. Truthfully, I've never thought of Canadian facilities as "foreign" anyway. We rely on each other for so many things that we're more like siblings than neighbors.

When I first heard of the Oshawa plant no longer producing Camaros I was very disappointed because they did a fabulous job building my 2014 1LE. The plant workers, some of whom are on this forum, took a personal interest in my satisfaction with their work. It was obvious that they take pride in their jobs and the results are indisputable, judging by the quality of workmanship I saw in my 1LE.

With demand so high for the 6th Gen Camaro in general and the ZL1 in particular, maybe there's hope that this demand will lead to overflow production going to Oshawa. That would put many of those highly skilled, displaced employees back to work and give us 6th Gen Camaro devotees a better chance of owning one, both in the US and Canada.

The latest news I've seen was this article in Detroit News from back in September:

GM expected to build Chevy Silverado at Oshawa plant

Although propects looked grim for the Oshawa plant early last year, it seems that demand has been driving increased reliance on this facility.

Nothing. I'm hoping we see traction on the next group w/o Feb 6 of allocations?

Makes sense. By time they get us TPW off that and delivery the temps will be ok end of April first of May for Canadian deliveries.

had a chance to see and sit in a zl1 auto today at the Montreal show, hope my order gets pass the 1100 level

Just got another email update !!! GM just contacted my dealer and order will go to 3000 and TPW within next 10 days. So looks like all 50 Canadian orders regardless of Vert or Coupe , M6 or A10 will all get picked up this next round of allocation in a few days !!!

car was every thing i had dreamed of, have been looking at pictures and video's for 6 months now, so was no suprise in person, i had not sit in last generation camaro until now, not sure it was the recardo seats or what but found that drivers erea was very cramped, had to open door to adjust seat
i also sat in the Zo6 that was there and found no difference, same feeling, i am 210 lb and 5.7 before you ask, car was also auto
drove 9 hours one way to go see it, happy i went

Im still torn between A10 and M6. Time to make the final decision i guess soon.
