Service stability track warning?

I was driving to work today like normal; and when I took my exit a Service Stability track warning showed up on my dash briefly and then it went away within 3 seconds. I slowed down and got to work and cut the car off and fired it back up the warning didn't re-appear... Should I be concerned? I haven't hit anything or modified my suspension in anyway I don't think there should be any reason I would be throwing a code but just in case I figured i'd ask you guys if you've heard of anything like this.

I know it's not the same but on my 15 Mustang I had the same issue. Out of the blue it would do this and Ford service figured it was a traction control sensor going out. They couldn't fix it because the problem only happened rarely and never stayed "broken" long enough to diagnose. If it happens again take it in when the warning is on. Like I said, we never fixed mine and it's part of the reason I never modified the mustang before I traded it in for the Camaro.

Well I'm hoping it doesn't pop again... Kinda freaked me out.. Otherwise this has been a great car. No issues what so ever <3

Same story on my GMC Acadia. If the light is not on there will be no codes to pull. The sensor discs on the wheels can get fouled and cause intermittent errors.

I know on my Caddy once a code goes off it should still show up in history. might be worth a try to read it.

Had that problem in our Envoy. Dealer never figured it out but went to a private mechanic and he found a bad sensor, I think it was the steering wheel position sensor. Apparently fairly common for GM vehicles to get those warnings with all of the sensors that they have.

Driving in snow taking a turn in sludge, in like 5 degree weather, I obviously slide a bit even in snow tires. I see this come on when that happens

Is that normal?

That happened to me awhile ago too. I tried the launch control... car stopped, turn on competition mode, clutch in, first gear, floored the gas... rev didn't stop at 4k, almost hit the limiter before I let go of the gas and I saw the Service S T A B I L I T R A K flashed for a sec. I thought it could be because it was a little cold that day or my tire pressure was a bit low that day too. I haven't tried it since...

Tried to Google but didn't find anything similar to what I experienced.

On both the 5th and 6th gen Camaro, "Service Stabilitrak" is pretty much the "default" error message that pops up if there's a temporary issue reading sensors from the CAN bus. Don't ask me why. If this only happened once, I would ignore it, but 99% of the time it isn't Stabilitrak itself failing.

On the 5th gen, this can happen if you start the car shortly after you previously had it running for a while in hot weather. It can also happen if the battery has a low voltage when cranking the engine or during other times when there's load on the electrical system.

The bottom line is that if Stabilitrak has indeed failed, the expected behavior is that a warning would appear on the DIC every time you start the car and would need to be manually cleared. If this isn't what you're seeing, then it hasn't really failed.

I had the same issue except I had turned off the traction control and was slowly inching up an icy driveway. I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps repeating.

This is similar to what I read about my Acadia. Got the intermittent warning. No DTC's logged on my scantool. Dealer said there will be no code for them to pull with any special tools like a tech2. After about a month the intermittent warnings stopped.
