I'd love a SC. Prolly a Maggie with the CA C.A.R.B. rating. But warranty and waning years of working kind of keep my modding in check. Oh, and stuff like roof repairs, new flooring, etc. for my other 'investment', my home. Once the warranty's up I'll make a decision on the SC. Meanwhile, I'll live vicariously through some of these build threads! Nice stuff, gents.

Supe, are there updates in the Warranty section on your debacle? Thanks.

Hard to say, private sale will get you more than trade. Dealer retail for used 2lt with similar miles seems to be around $20-$25K.

It may take you a little longer with the cosmetic mods in your sig, as this stuff tends to narrow your market, and these definitely reduce trade in value, for that reason. The up side, is that you might get lucky and find someone that really likes the mods and snatch the car up. You'd probably wind up selling it for $17K maybe $20K.

With that and the money you were going to put into the TT set up and necessary related upgrades, you'd be pretty close to a '12 -'13 ZL1, may have to throw another $5k on the fire. It would have some miles on it, and might be out of the bumper to bumper warranty, but then, I guess that's not really an issue if you going to mod your current car.

Just trying to help him out as we were all new once. Let's not let that throw this thread off on a tangent.

Wait, weren't you the guy just complaining about how Dad won't put premium into your car? Shouldn't you save some mod money and fill your own gas tank?
