1700 miles when i had it dynoed

Break in process, drive the hell out of it lol, I had a fully build trans am 780whp 850wtq and ever part i "broke in" never lasted. Everything i drove the heck out of including the broke in stuff i had to replace lasted for years. So i fully believe in break in how you plan on driving it.

Being in Texas and having a broken in ZL1 ready to go you can be the firstreal owner to lay down the big number on a track. Find some sticky back tires and go make a few test and tune runs. You may find yourself a hero out of the box.
Represent the Chevy ZL1.

Nice dyno numbers! Those ODO miles rack up fast when you've got those wide open roads in TX, huh? Mine's just over 100 and parked under its cover 'til the weather clears here in E. NC. Nowhere to run it here with local drag strips closed and back roads treacherous.

Will a Nascar engine last 150,000+ miles?

How many pulls did you do?
Power change if you did more pulls?

570 rear wheel HP = 655 at the crank. Exactly what it should be putting out. If the pull was done in a cold bay, that should help it not hurt it.

I'm more of a believer of about 10% losses.

I tend to assume 13% for manuals & 16% for automatics these days. Time was, 15 & 20 were considered the norm but drivetrains have gotten a bit more efficient since then.

An engine in a taxi has a very different usage cycle than a racecar. Not sure who is more abusive to their engines: I've been in a cabs that weave through traffic quicker than Jeff Gordon at Watkins Glen. But even the worst of cabbies still need to get several thousand miles out of their engine, whereas a Nascar driver maxes out at 600some & typically in the 400 to 500 mile range for a given weekend.
