Most modern sports cars have a stiff enough chassis that it's just added weight to run a strut tower brace. Maybe one of the suspension vendors on here will chime in, but I think the weight savings outweigh any rigidity gains.

I could be mistaken though

I'm just as doubtful as everyone here that the strut tower bar does much of anything, however the BMR one that I have in my car did seem to tighten up the front when turning up or down inclines/declines.

I'm going to remove it and then replace it a few times to make sure it isn't my head, but it was noticeable driving around my parking garage.

I know its an easy addition afterwards just thought it seemed strange, especially given the nature of a SS 1LE...
To answer your question, after reading your post I checked my order which went in on Dec 22. They had to remove the brace to get the order to go through.

Thanks KCXLT, that's what I was wondering about. Just curious if it had happened too anyone else!
