That's BS, you can do the 2 free oil changes when you want to. I got mine done around 2000 miles from the dealer. He told me its not needed at this time i told him just do it, Done. If that dealer won't do it go to another, it should be 2 free oil changes at your leisure.

2nd that! GM HAS to cover those 2 free oil changes anytime, no questions should be asked. My dealer tried talking me out of it at 1000 miles, first change. I said it is none of your business, I paid for a car that includes 2 free changes and I wanted to do it at that time...they did it. Now I know Cadillac with their full maintenance package, you have to be 20% or less, but they cover as many changes and rotations as you want.

I just got off the phone with Felix Chevy here in LA. They are going to change the rear end fluid 3 times and let me take the 1SS Camaro home. If the noise continues they will change the rear end out all together. If anything else comes out of it ill let everyone know.

on my second rear diff and GM and local dealership refuse to repair it! Due to reckless driving they cannot prove! Any legal advice? I'm getting in touch with a few lawyers!!

When you say second rear diff do you mean you already had two installed and still have noise going on for a third diff? Also if its just the diff and nothing else you can prove to them its not a isolated incident by showing them this thread i think and plenty of online posts about it. If you do go the lawyer route show him this thread as well in your defense.

My 2016 ss 6spd has the Groan when cold only around corners it has 4000 miles and from what i read here i`m getting worried.

Welcome to the forums first and foremost!!! Sorry you had to experience what so many of us are dealing with today. Nothing to get worried about just take it in to your dealer for starters and let them know if they don't already that its a known issue with the Diff ect. They will end up drain and fill it but make sure you leave it overnight if the noise is not present when you arrive there as it most likely wont be.

11,000 on my 16 1SS A8. 3way Chevy is replacing my rear differential while they take care of the tranny line recall.

Got a sweet base model 4 cylender impala straight of the showroom floor as a rental...

First rear diff replaced going on a second if i can get all this red tape cleared!

I had the groan a while back, and had the fluid changed; it's been back worse ever since. I'm going to contact my dealer on Monday to get this resolved. This is BS.

Mine was manufactured 11/15 m6 non SS. I really hope they get this issued resolved it sure sounds bad.

I've already had two rear diff replaced, so it's technically the third one in the car. 200 miles without noise, but "brake assist" warning now. Back to the dealer it goes on Tuesday.
