To the OP, use the same care and caution you would any other USED car. Essentially that is what you are doing. Asking to see documentation of how the car was driven during it's Demo time would not be out of the spectrum of that caution considering the type of car it is. I purchased mine at 200+ miles for the same reasons as yours. it was a heck of a deal (1SS,NPP, MRS, A8, split spoke) (sticker price 44K) at 32K, and haven't had any issues yet. Make sure to get your warranty started at the current mileage in writing, and make sure they point that out at signing. I wouldn't let the word Demo scare me; these same people who say they wouldn't even consider it are essentially saying they wouldn't buy a used car EVER; and I would bet that at some point they have. A used car is always a gamble, You have no idea of how the previous owner treated it. So do your due diligence as you would with any other USED car.

I bought a 2016 SS 2SS in Nov.2016. Got 20% off the Sticker. It had
6800 miles on it. The Dealer lets his family drive them, then sells them.
Had the Trans cooler line Recall, that`s all so far. Keeping my fingers
crossed.

Heck yes I would, as long as the car had fresh tires and a big discount. You still get a warranty.

No downsides.

It comes down to 3 basic things:

- Are they offering it at a fair price based upon the current market value; KBB or NADA.

- It comes with the "full" warranty package. Yes, it has been driven and likely not taken care of as much as you would but under warranty most of what you may have to worry about is covered.

- Are you happy with it. Doesn't matter what any of us think or say, at the end of the day you have to be comfortable with your decision.

I did not buy the car. It is still on the dealers lot. They went 20% and an extra $1400 that was invoice discount. With other people getting 25% and higher on cars with no miles I was not happy with deal.
