Wife loves to drive the car. Takes me a bit of fiddling to get it back.

The radio is not that great but it serves its limited purpose. I swaped out the pedals for the sport ones as I feel they should have come that way from the factory. Also a home link for the garage would have been nice. Biggest gripe I have though is a problem with all gen6 camaros. The idiotic way the center console opens. It would have been more practical to have it hinged from the passanger side!!!

I couldn't overcome the poor visibility and how big the car is compared to its lack of interior rear space. Those two things were deal breakers. It's unfortunate since I'm very impressed with the way the SS roars and drives.

The visibility issue is really a non issue once you drive it a few hundred miles and get the seats and mirrors adjusted right. I came from a 2011 Mustang GT which has good visibility, and the first time I drove my SS 1LE I noticed the difference in visibility and the lower roof line. Once I drove it a few hundred miles it has become a non issue...if anything I like the feeling of the low roof line now.

As for the lack of back seat space, I could care less as I don't see that ever being used...nor will my trunk.

Couple things for me.

1) Needs splash guards. These tires are insane, throwing rocks on even the cleanest of roads. It is on the very urgent to do list.
2) Audio is OK. Sat Radio is awful quality to begin with, I bought spotify premium and bumped the sound quality all the way up and its MUCH better. Good enough for now at least.
3) Lack of auto dimming mirrors, at least the rear view mirror. Cars at a much cheaper price point are equipped.
4) Homelink! Hate having to dig my remote out of the console to get into my gate and then my garage.
5) Wish the grill had a flowtie or no tie. Personal preference, I like the cleaner look.
6)Skip shift, what a piece of shit. Cant wait to get it turned off, having to subconsciously drive around it sucks, especially in a stop light to stop light situation.
7) Shifter is a little to notchy, its starting to loosen up though.

Most of which can be fixed except for 3 and 4. The rest can be addressed with A) more money B) Tune.

Overall I love the cockpit type feeling, the seats are frankly AMAZING, the audio is fine for the average joe and the power is awesome (needs more though)

The visibility does not really bother me at all. Mirrors are fine and the back up camera works great, just like my C7 did. The Recaro driver seat adjusts so I can see clear over the dash and past the hood vents for a comfortable position and good view of the road.

Back seats are useless unless your small people period, but I will most likely never have anyone ride back there. Though my wife and sister in law are both 90 to 100 lbs ........ ha ha !

Cheers DW

All good points, tell me are the sport pedals just a factory GM accessory.

Thanks Dale

Bingo ! .... Being average height of 5'9" I can see fine ......... who the heck knows maybe the back seat was put in there for insurance cost reasons.

You can add Homelink. We in the SS Sedan community do it all the time since our cars didn't come with Homelink. You can buy the little sunshade module (for around $20 on ebay) and tap into that power (in the makeup light) and you're done. It's a long thread but the pertinent info on how to do it is in there. Maybe someone can make this mode readily available for the 1SS and 1LT community.

http://www.ssforums.com/forum/how-fo...-homelink.html

Homelink is usually a stand alone module so maybe it's even possible to just buy a Gen 6 module to put in that slot on your car. I'm not sure.

Hard to give an honest opinion with only 400 miles on the clock but here are a few things that stick out thus far, yet are minor and I don't consider them actual problems.

1. I finally started to notice a bit of throttle "lag" or "dead space" that can cause the car to jolt, or upset depending on throttle application. This happened to me once when I was throttle steering the car, and could potentially pose a problem if it upset the car to much while driving 8/10ths or above.

2. The radio is not super great, but it gets the job done for a regular joe. To me this isnt really a problem, just something that I noticed.

3. Like another member posted, i've accidentally changed driving modes when resting my hand on the shifter. I don't usually rest my hand there, so it's a non issue.

4. I'm the only one who drives my car, but with that said memory seat settings might have been kind of nice.

5. Nothing else matters because this car is fricken amazing for what it is and outdrives almost everything I've previously been in.

They come standard with the ZL1 but are an accessory to all other Camaros.

I gotta buy those...I just wish they had a matching dead pedal.
