On a side note, I got good news from the dealer. Even though the marks on the vinyl were minor, they agreed to replace the wrap, thankfully. They also ordered new hood vents, so I will have fresh ones to install after the new wrap goes on (that was probably unnecessary, but I appreciate the customer service).

Got a pleasant surprise today. I placed my order with the dealer a couple weeks ago. I was told that due to the holidays and such the car wouldn't be built until first or second week of January for a middle-late February delivery.

So I see the dealer's online site has three 1LE's including a white one (which is color I ordered). Have the day off, so I decide to head over and see what it will look like in real life. Told that none of the SS 1LE's are actually there and that if the pic is stock photo it means it's not on the lot...fair enough.

So the salesman I ordered the car from is there and he looks up the status of my car. Found out it was built YESTERDAY (12/22) instead of January! WOOHOO!!! Said I might have the car a month to month and a half early!! Now I really have to get off my duff and get the current car sold for that down payment.

Mine has been built and is scheduled to arrive Jan 1st or 2nd. I made it clear several times. Don't wash it! don't fill it with gas! and do notttttttt drill into that bumper, i got the tow hook mount.

Do you guys think the dealer would be open New years day? and the day after? most people are off on that Monday. I know i am. I plan on getting my first ski run of the season on Sunday but i will gladly miss that to receive my car. I'm honestly so nervous about them f-ing up anything on the car when they unload it. Mostly that front splitter. I'm even worried about the truck driver putting his gloves on the paint getting in and out and rubbing tiny scratches in it. Or scratching the door sill I HATE THAT!

I want to post some pics and start a thread of my detailing process from dirty to showroom condition. Would anyone mind commenting how to put a picture in my chat box?

Hey Becky I know my TPW is 1/2 but some others are saying theirs were built early. Any way you could check out order # TXBGJJ? Thanks

Has anyone ordered a car in the last week or so with the strut tower brace and got the factory too accept it? Just a curiostiy thing, not a big deal, thought it was funny they offered an option on the build sheet that you cant get..lol ( ordered very end of December)

That is a LPO option, just add it afterwards. Or buy a BMR one...

Ya I'll probably do a round of bmr braces in a few years so not worried about it at all, just thought it was weird, but things never seem too be well communicated within the company so not a huge surprise.
