The SS looks like it's missing the exhaust tips compared to the Z

Sound the same, since I am not sure how a supercharger would make exhause louder!

305/30/20 on the ZL1 vs. 275/35/20 for the SS = wider rear fenders on the ZL1

Best regards,

Their exhaust look identical but the way that ZL1 sounds right after the first Rev ( The way it' popping... ), it is definitely less restrictive compared to the SS.

And? They sound identical. Matter of fact the ZL1 sounds more cheap-like. Should have put it in track mode.

Although I get blasted for saying this since this is a Camaro forum and all, the ZL1's exhaust sounds barely better than stock. I still think any aftermarket system would beat the pants off this pretty easily.

That's pretty good for a stock exhaust!

They put minivan exhaust on these things from the factory. Too many retired old guys buying them who wouldn't care for a proper showing of the power that's under the hood. If they made it sound correct, they'd lose a lot of sales. Not hard to open it up though.

Better than a stock SS I meant (even with NPP.) Sorry, I didn't really set a context there. :P

Nice video!

Can tell the difference distinctly. ZL1 sounds deeper...dare I even say "louder". More air.

The Engine Sound Management is set on Track Mode for both cars. The steady rev at the end is at 4000 rpm starts with the ZL1 and then the 2SS.
