I know what those terms are. I didn't understand the sentence structure.

Out of two pages here is a actual answer.

believe it or not there is a huge market for 22 on camaro vehicles the only reason you dont see much support in the forums is because the majority in the forum community all land in the performance aspect of the car, and would prefer a wider wheel then a bigger wheel, basically anything that will enhance the performance of your already dope ass car .

But if you go to your local wheel and tire shop you will see that that majority of the customers walking into the shop are asking for 22" yes strange for this community but so true outside of it. Hence is why we make a M228 in a 22"
if you notice we dont really advertise a 22 M228 in this forum because we know the community on this platform who want 22" are limited.... either way on to your tire question, below is one of the last set up's we did for a shop.

Camaro 5th gen
wheel model: M228
size: 22x9.5 and 22x10.5
Tire Size: F 255/30/22 R 295/30/22

Camaro 6th gen
Wheel model: M228
Size: 22x9.5 and 22x10.5
Tire size: F 255/30/22 R 285/25/22

other's may have already experimented with other size tires but this is a record we have of actual sales.

You could also do the following so your OD is the same front and back

245/30/22 27.8"
295/25/22 27.8"

Factory OD is 27.7" and 27.6"

When we were running our staggered 22" set up 9" up front and 10.5" out back, we ran 265/30/22 and 295/30/22 with zero issues at all and filled up the wheel well very nicely.

Preciate it. I know it's spelled appreciate but since we have Grammer police here then I'll stick to what I like to type. I like the bigger look better than wider. 22 is my limit though. Don't want no donk

I have 22" Savani's with 265/30 and 305/25 on rear no issues and will, opt for 315/25 on next tire change....

The ride is just the same plus little firmer, but I also lowered it with the BMR springs and absolutely no issues at all with GM GFX too....

But for the OP - my wheels are squared or all the same size. 22 X 10.5 all the way around. But my tires are 285/25/22 upfront and 305/25/22 in the rears. Like I said earlier if the offset is right you can pull off some 22's on the 6th Gen.

The tire width needed properly run 10.5" rims is a 295.
295 anything I feel is too wide up front. It will ride close to the fender and cause incessant rock chips.
A 6th gen ZL1 can run a 295 up front and be fine though as the fenders come out further.
I'm sure a 305 (maybe a 315) can fit the rears with the correct offset.

I run 22x9/22x10.5 on 255/30/22 and 295/25/22 tires respectively.

An old video before the drop is under my YouTube link in my signature.
