I got this setup about 7 months ago. It's the best I've seen. The new software is easy and you can set it up with the unit that gives you it's own WiFi. It also will send notices to the app on your phone. You can set it up so it will only give you notices that you think is important. You can also get an added unit that will allow you to use it in park mode without draining the battery. Just go on line and read up on it and you can see all the features. you can also go onto dashcamtalk.com and learn what people think of this and other dash cams. I would not drive this car without one.

Too bad it doesn't record the rear also. I had someone hit me on purpose from the rear and at an angle so it appeared I went into his lane. Ever since, I have a camera recording front and back in HD 1080p.

I didn't buy blackvue, but blackvue is still a good product.

They have a dual camera setup as well. I got the single camera. Convertible no place to mount rear camera
