V8 to V6 Bumper/Grille Swap?

I saw the Aftermarket grille thread, but what I'd like to know is: Would the front Fascia/Bumper/Grille of Gen Six V6 fit on a Gen Six V8 without modification? I love the look of the V6 front ends, but really don't care for the V8 grille and running lights. Also, are there other considerations (like hood fitment. etc.)?

I test drove a '16 SS some months ago and really liked the car... except for the front end. If I could make it look like the V6 front end, I'd strongly consider trading up.

Thanks for any info. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

If I had to venture an educated guess I would say yes, since the only real body changes are to the ZL-1.

However, the SS fascia is design with the extra coolers in mind. You have the center radiator and then behind each corner is additional coolers for the radiator. Maybe if you drive it like a V6 it won't matter.

Below the LED lights is an opening for the coolers and to the wheelwell

I think the running lights are the same. Not sure about plastic crash support.
Best option would be if you could find a v-6 owner locally wanting to UPGRADE to a v-8 look.

I think the whole front fascia can be swamped but the grille alone won't fit. Would love to trade my V6 front end with the v8 lol

Well if I break down and get a new SS, I'll send you a PM and we can give it a try.
