Depends on the dealer "habit" -
when in that time frame, they submit orders.

So, just to clarify – there is still something the dealer has to do after entering the order in the system to actually “submit” the order before GM can pick it up? I guess I thought that if the order was entered and GM granted them the allocation, then the order would automatically get picked up (so much to learn!).

I’m sorry if you have already answered this question a hundred times before - it is a little daunting to consider scanning through 2430 pages of postings to try to find the answer elsewhere!

Yes ...they need to "place the order"
Creating the order - it then is in the "order bank"...
Which order to be placed is done by the dealer.

..don't want to 2430 Pages...?...

But it is such a.. FUN Read...

The items are delivered to the Parts Depts....
They are LPO items - that are shipped separate - from the Camaro.

Thanks Becky. I checked today and they had them in parts holding both items for me. The guy that does their final check was off so it was missed the day I picked up the SS. My buddy apologized and kept them in his office for me today. I picked them up on the way home..

PS: I love this car it's a blast to drive.

Thank you Becky. I guess I won't see it under the Christmas tree then. Oh well... at least I know it's close... I've got little ones with visions of sugar-plums to keep my mind off it anyway.

Do you ever sleep? I see responses from you from 7 AM to well after 9 PM sometimes. I'm wondering how you'll keep up this pace during your race week. Forum members will have Becky withdrawals I think.
