I wasn't suggesting anything other than dyno graphs by themselves can't be used to make absolute conclusions.

Without O2 simulators there is no option but to tune out the O2s if you delete the primary cats.[/QUOTE]

could just move them behind secondary cats, candy job.

For those who have the cat delete AND NPP, how are the different modes? Really considering these, but want to make sure stealth can still be somewhat stealthy. It's nice to be quiet when you need it

It is still quiet in stealth mode. I have my 2nd cats cut out and I can tell a difference on startup and high rpm, but otherwise its not much louder.

Maybe. Depends on how sensitive the catalyst tests are.

true dat, the oldlady's Volvo R with 3" stainless downpipe no codes till it gets cold out, then at low speed, initial start it will throw a cat efficiency code. I spaced the rear 02 out with a defouler and never had an issue after.

I cut my rear cats and lost alot of torque.... kind of regret it to be honest.. the slight increase in sound vs the significant loss in torque just isnt worth it

Well that just changed my mind about deleting the secondaries. I think I'm just going to do an axleback until I start doing some real mods that are going to give me real power anyways.

This is someones subjective opinion. You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet unless it comes with proof. I.E. Dyno Charts.

If someone has lost enough torque to be able to FEEL it in the seat of your pants then there is a bigger problem they are not looking at. I'd be interested to see before and after datalogs.

I have my secondary cats removed via the Borla 60609 Xpipe. I have not had the same experience Nightfall1SS has.

It think it is rather funny that I could go thru decades and decades of racing and street performance that I used my calibrated butt dyno. I can tell you that my ride that I drive own and have launched about 500 to 1000 times works better with primary cat deletes and there is no way in hades that any deletes are going to loose torque in of themselves. I can believe in false knock. I will when I have a chance install a 2 and 3/4 stainless flex line on one side of my H pipe. Yes the factory has two really small ones already. IMO it is not enough. Also with the primary cat deletes you do lose the front hangers so there is NOTHING supporting the exhaust forward of center rear hangers just in front of the rear tires. IMO these should be hangers in front, I have LT on now and it makes it even more complicated to rig up a front hanger setup. Sure 99.99% of the vendors and mfg are going to say you don't need any flexnjoints or hangers on our LT and full (completely rigid full exhaust). GM does not think so...

That's true, others say they feel gains by doing the secondary cat delete.
