This isn't a purpose built track car, there is no reason that you can't have both. I spend much more time off track driving than I do on it. |

I noticed the difference between the two sound systems once I drove both. The price difference between the two is night and day for me. I paid 31k for a 1SS and they wanted 40-41k for a 2SS. I couldn't justify the 9k price difference to myself nor my fiancé when the dealer was trying to convince me it was worth the price. There are six primarily major difference between the two vehicles:
1. Bose System (great sound) 2. Lane Departure Detection (don't need if you know how to drive) 3. Lights throughout cabin (children find this amusing) 4. Backup sensors (don't need if you know how to drive) 5. Heads up display (serves its purpose) 6. Rearview mirror auto dimming (which some people disable) With that being said, I decided to just put my own sound system into the Camaro and it sounds way better than the Bose could ever sound. 8 Hertz speakers throughout, powered by a nice amp is all you need. It cost 1300, and I believe the Bose option is 1000-1200. IMO, just purchase the 1SS with NPP and mag ride control, then install additional parts. You'll come out on top every time. |
