We found the part number after finding a ZL1 vin then doing a little digging around. I have a GREAT GM parts manager that's willing to do a little extra to help me find parts. Picked up all the LT4 high side pump and injectors, the low side was the last piece of the puzzle (until I decided to do a crazy build)

If anyone needs part numbers I don't mind sharing what we've found.

Great work on this! Appreciate your sharing.

Yes, I think several of us would like the part numbers.

I put the part number and picture of the label in the first post. Right now you won't find it online. perdieu can probably get you one or maybe you can get one from a dealer.

After a lot of research I found that the Correct ZL1 fuel pump is 23377989. I also found that the 2017 ZL1 and 1LE use the same fuel pump. The Regular SS models use a different pump. I verified this and crossed referenced this by using actual VIN #s from 2017 models.
The part number listed by the OP 23377988 is listed as a fuel pump lift module but it does Not cross reference back to a ZL1 or 1LE.
The correct one is readily available thru GM dealers in 1 day as it is a Service Lane part and ships overnight to the dealer at no additional charge, currently there is stock in the TN. parts warehouse.

that is great. i just looked at the box it came in and it has the 23377989 part number on it but the pump has 23377988 on it.

I picked up a flex fuel sensor, double female quick disconnect fitting and a connector for about $75. if I ever get the fittings I ordered from summit I plan on doing a pressurized flow test and then do a flow test through the flex fuel sensor to see if it hurts anything. looking inside the sensor there is some stuff in there that could be a restriction.

I am not sure what pressure to test at. I am thinking low, like 20psi or 30psi. I am not sure what the minimum pressure is required to make sure the high pressure pump is fed enough fuel.

Normally the low side supplies the high side at 60 psi and starts to drop as it cant keep up. Mine is dropping to 25-30 psi at the top of 4th during a pull. My high side is still able to maintain 2100-2200 psi but it is about to run out of fuel. I will get around to installing my new low side pump and doing more tuning over the holidays.

We did some flow tests with 30psi of pressure. this is all done at the front of the car after all factory lines and should be a good test of just how much fuel can be deliver into the hpfp. We also did tests adding in a flex fuel sensor.

14.5v at 30psi no flex = 11.00lbs/min
16.3v at 30psi no flex = 12.50lbs/min
14.5v at 30psi with flex sensor = 10.79lb/min
16.3v at 30psi with flex sensor = 12.39lb/min

This is all with e85 and the zl1 in tank pump. You can see the flex fuel sensor does hurt the flow slightly.

Let's look at the last number. 12.39lb/min. That is 743lb/hr. At .85 bsfc for e85 that should be enough fuel for 874hp. If your going to voltage boost he pump you would most likely run it a little higher than 16.3v.

That seems like a decent amount of fuel for about $600( zl1 pump and booster) and keeps all the stock plumbing. One question is does the factory pump controller run the pump up to 100%dc?

Good numbers BUT what's the flow drop off at 60psi ?
I like where the numbers are going. Just ordered a couple more pumps

We didn't test 60psi. Why is that important unless you want to do some port injection with it. 30psi seems to be a safe minimum for feeding the hpfp.
